Assessing student progress and checking for understanding is a vital part of the teaching and learning process. It is now more important than ever for educators to be able to implement digital assessments into their curriculum. The ability for students to engage in digital formative assessments in remote and online settings is critical. Participants in this course will investigate and evaluate various tools and strategies that help educators and learners with creating and engaging in formative assessments in a digital classroom. Participants, where possible, will employ these strategies with students and share the results with each other in interactive online discussion communities.
