Exploring the Power of a Digital Classroom provides a basic understanding of utilizing digital tools to enrich the learning experience for students. In this course, educators will participate in a series of learning opportunities around learning how digital citizenship impacts students, ways to address classroom management in a digital world, and exploring a variety of digital tools. The course allows teachers, administration, and support staff to learn new tools through hands-on investigation guided by tutorials. Through the use of Google Classroom, the participants will engage in online discussions to share resources and ideas with fellow educators.
This course is geared towards teachers who work with students from 3rd to 12th grade. The assignments provided and resources highlighted are not applicable for kindergarten through 2nd grade as they are more advanced than the learning that takes place at that level.
