Engage your students with awesome digital storytelling and reflection tools that reinforce curriculum concepts. In this course, taught by a Certified Google Trainer, educator and k12 Digital Learning Coach, participants will explore a variety of digital storytelling tools, applicable to any curriculum or age.
In addition, participants will learn to use web-based games and exit ticket tools that reflect upon topics explored throughout the course, first as participants and later in the course as creators when they build their own examples.
This course is filled with meaningful, cutting edge skills, and strategies that will prove to be invaluable for teaching and learning.
The course provides choice in tools for digital storytelling and content reflection. Student choice is student voice: explore these tools and share some of your own favorites.
Participants can tap into tools shared in this course or explore something new, provided objectives are met.
Potential tools include free web-based applications e.g. Google Drawings, Thinglink, My Maps, TourBuilder, video production, timelines, and more.
