Getting the Most out of Google Chrome

Chrome is a powerful web browser with capabilities far beyond a basic search. In this online course, taught by a certified Google for Education Trainer, teachers will discover the power of Chrome. Participants will begin by customizing their browser to create a unique and individualized experience.

Through advance search tips, users will learn how to narrow down their search to get the most relevant information. Participants will learn how to check sources and create their own search engine. The course will conclude with a study of Chrome extensions and websites that can be used to help get the most out of Chrome.

To be successful in this course, participants will need a Mac, PC, or Chromebook (iPads and Phones are not compatible with this course).

Participants meet virtually via online communities to discuss and share lessons and strategies.
