Let’s start by addressing the elephant in the room. This is an online course about technology fatigue. The resources and modules in this course are digital, and all of the assignments are online. Completing this course will involve a lot of screen time. However, the goal of this course is to provide participants with strategies to maximize digital efficiency and effectiveness, to establish balance, and to teach healthy media use to students. Participants will learn key components to effective technology integration in the classroom. Participants will design meaningful learning experiences that can be immediately implemented  in the classroom. Participants will explore and apply digital tools to set goals, research, modify instruction, and maximize effective technology use. Participants will collaborate via online communities to discuss and share lessons and strategies.
