Instructor: Multiple          3 Graduate Credits

Andrews Course #EDCI 639-057 / Colorado State Course #501  / UND Course #T&L 2900

If you plan on completing more than 6 classes in one session, let us know first so that we can confirm the university can process the transcripts promptly.

The NCTM has identified five process standards for K-12 mathematics instruction: Problem Solving, Reasoning, Communication, Connections, and Representation. While it is easy to list these processes, it can be very difficult to implement them in the classroom.  In this highly engaging course for K-12 mathematics educators, participants will dive into the five process standards, explore resources to support implementation, and experiment with digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.  Participants will design meaningful learning experiences that can be immediately implemented  in the classroom. Participants will explore and apply digital tools to set goals, research, track progress, and show learning. Participants will collaborate via online communities to discuss and share lessons and strategies.
