Teacher and student anxiety and burnout is a global problem that researchers have been focused on for decades. Implementing skills and strategies for mindfulness have proven to be an effective tool to increase well-being and prevent burnout. In this engaging interactive course participants will learn and complete exercises in mindfulness. Participants will research, develop, and implement meaningful mindfulness exercises for students. Participants will explore and apply digital tools to set goals, research, track progress, and show learning. Participants will collaborate via online communities to discuss and share lessons and strategies.
This is a hybrid course with both face-to-face instruction, as well as online classwork. The skills and strategies explored in this course can be applied to all content areas.
