High school counselors play a critical role in a student’s life. College and career counseling and coaching can help students find their passion and develop skills to set and reach goals. The digital age we live in opens up a world of resources and tools to assist in this process. However there are so many options out there, it can be overwhelming and difficult to find efficient and effective digital tools. In this course, participants will explore a variety of digital tools to help with the college counseling process. The digital tools focus on three main categories, Interest assessments, college exploration, and application organization. Participants will leave this course with a digital toolkit that can be used to share with students and fellow counselors to make college counseling more engaging and efficient.
