This course is designed for Illinois educators seeking to become leaders in digital learning. Through a blend of self-paced learning and facilitated discussions, participants will gain a deep understanding of the critical elements of digital literacy, citizenship, and technology integration. We'll explore key Illinois legislation, dive into best practices for data privacy and cybersecurity, and develop strategies for fostering a culture of responsible technology use among students.
The course will equip educators with the knowledge and skills to:
- Integrate technology effectively across the curriculum: Develop engaging and innovative learning experiences that leverage technology to enhance student learning.
- Cultivate digital citizenship: Foster responsible online behavior among students, including ethical use of technology, digital safety, and critical evaluation of information.
