Google Classroom and Collaborative Tools to Support Online Learning

This course, taught by an authorized Google Education Trainer, will give participants a chance to explore and test Google Classroom and its many functionalities.  Participants will collaborate and complete assignments in Google Classroom, and will have the opportunity to set up their own online classrooms to experiment and learn how it works.  Participants will explore and employ best practices regarding Google Classroom for use in traditional and remote learning environments.  Participants will understand and investigate the latest updates to Google Classroom and critically review them.  They will share their reviews and provide feedback to their peers via Google Classroom.  The course will also focus on other collaborative applications, including Padlet.  Teachers can use Padlet to collaborate with peers as well as a private forum where students can collaborate, display work, and comment.  Participants meet virtually to discuss and share lessons and strategies.
