The Technology Specialist Endorsement is an Illinois State Board of Education-approved credential for licensed educators who complete 18 semester hours of coursework and pass the Technology Specialist (223) test. This endorsement equips you with the skills to effectively integrate technology in education and lead digital learning initiatives in schools.
Eligibility Requirement:
To earn this endorsement, you must already hold an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) endorsed in a teaching field. Additional endorsements can be added to your PEL at any grade level, regardless of the underlying grade range of your teaching endorsement.
