Our courses has been approved by the LAUSD Joint Salary Point Committee for 2 Salary Points. These courses can be applied to each schedule of the LAUSD Salary Table.  Courses are $119.00 for each 2 Salary Point course.

Register through Ed Technology Specialists by clicking “Learn More” underneath one or more courses below. You will be sent an email with a course link to start the course. 


Receive Your Salary Points

After you complete the course, at the end of each session we process your grade and send the appropriate paperwork to you and to LAUSD.  You will receive two salary points when completed.

Mindfulness to Improve Teaching and Learning

In this engaging interactive course participants will learn and complete exercises in mindfulness, and develop and implement meaningful mindfulness exercises for students.

Supporting English Language Learning with Instructional Technology

Participants will learn key components to successful English immersion, and explore a variety of resources to plan, implement, and maintain a successful English immersion classroom.

Social Media and Social Emotional Learning

Participants will learn about the foundations of social media, identify a social emotional learning framework that meet the needs of students, and utilize tools to develop meaningful learning experiences.

Participants will learn about platforms that support community collaboration, explore outreach and grant opportunities, and apply skills to create and build relationships with the community.

Participants will learn six strategies for differentiated instruction and will explore and apply digital tools to set goals, research, plan and implement instruction, track progress, and show learning

Tools for Close Reading Across the Curriculum

Participants will learn about a component of close reading, explore digital tools to assist in implementation, and create a close reading lesson that can be immediately implemented in the classroom.

Becoming a Resilient Educator: Self-Care Strategies and Tactics to Avoid Teacher Burnout

Participants will examine their current self-care practices. They will learn how to manage stress and anxiety, find ways to effectively practice mindfulness, and work to develop a self-care plan.

Social Emotional Learning Strategies for the Modern Classroom

Participants in their course will investigate, develop and implement different strategies and tools to improve SEL strategies and practices in their classroom.

Understanding and Implementing IEPs with Digital Tools

Participants will assess their prior knowledge of the IEP process and develop a personalized goal for the course. They will explore and apply digital tools to set goals and track progress. 

Managing a 1:1 Classroom

Participants will learn skills and strategies to establish and maintain an effective and productive 1:1 Classroom, and create a management system that can be immediately implemented in the classroom.

Best Practices for Social Emotional Learning in Response to Crisis

Teachers and staff must learn and apply social and emotional strategies to find a healthy balance of professional and personal responsibilities.
