Exploring the World Around us Through Virtual Field Trips

Instructor: Kelly Fitzgerald  3 Graduate Credits / 67.5 Massachusetts PDPs

Andrews Course #EDCI 639-024  /   Colorado State Course #501

Important: Both Andrews University and CSU Pueblo limit transcript processing to 15 credits per semester. At Andrews, your transcript will indicate the semester in which you finish the course.

In today’s age, we are no longer restricted to learning about the world around us solely through print resources.  We now have the ability to virtually walk the streets of Paris, explore Machu Picchu mountain, scuba dive the Great Barrier Reef, experience the setting of a book, and so much more.

In this online course, taught by a certified Google Trainer, educators will discover resources they can use to take their students on virtual field trips. You must have a Google account, as participants will meet virtually to discuss and collaborate with one another.

This beginner level course is designed for students of 3rd through 12th grade.
