Instructor: Multiple   3 Graduate Credits / 67.5 Massachusetts PDPs

Andrews Course # EDCI 639-093  /  Colorado State Course #501

Important: Both Andrews University and CSU Pueblo limit transcript processing to 15 credits per semester. At Andrews, your transcript will indicate the semester in which you finish the course.

Are you ready to streamline your teaching and reclaim your planning time? This is a back-to-basics course designed to help you master the foundational tools of Google Workspace. Instead of just reading about technology, you will dive into a series of hands-on tasks that build your confidence in using Google Drive, Docs, Classroom, Forms, and more. This course strips away the tech overwhelm and focuses entirely on the essential skills every educator needs to create a thriving digital learning environment.

What sets this course apart is its focus on immediate application. After mastering each technical skill, you will complete brief connection reflections to brainstorm exactly how to apply these tools to your unique group of students. Whether you want to automate your grading, organize your digital files, or design accessible multimedia lessons, you will walk away with ready-to-use materials and a clear roadmap to maximize your instructional impact the very next day.

Participants in this course will be prepared to take the Google Certified Educator Level 1 exam.  Participants do NOT have to take the Google Exam to earn graduate credit for this course, and completion of the course does not guarantee Google Certification.
